Sweet & savoury ideas for pleasurable peaches.

Store

If they’re not quite ready, leave them on the counter in a single layer until they soften up. Avoid stacking them to prevent bruising. Ripe peaches should be kept in the fridge to slow down further ripening.

Grill

Cut peaches in half, remove the pit, and grill them cut-side down until caramelised. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of honey for a simple yet elegant dessert.

Salsa

Dice peaches and mix with red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, and fresh coriander. This sweet and tangy salsa pairs perfectly with grilled chicken, fish tacos, or just tortilla chips.

Jam

Cook peaches with sugar and lemon juice for a homemade jam that tastes like summer in a jar all year round. It’s perfect for spreading on toast or swirling into yoghurt and porridge.

Salads

Slice peaches and toss them into salads for a sweet twist. They pair wonderfully with greens, goat cheese, candied nuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette.
